Preparing the vessel for hull repair: removing fuel and cargo, cleaning the deck and the room, preparing technological documentation.

Using ultrasonic devices, we measure residual thicknesses, determine the depth of dents and the degree of wear of thehull structures. Engineers compare the obtained indicators with the normative ones, determine the technical condition of the hull and make a decision on repair.

Pre-repair measurements of residual thicknesses help determine in advance the amount of work to eliminate wear and predict the amount of metal that will be needed for repairs. This reduces the time the vessel is in the dock and saves the customer’s money.

After inspection and diagnostics of the vessel, we draw up a repair scheme, on the basis of which the repair will be carried out. In the scheme, we prescribe in detail the list of works, frequency, labor intensity and the average budget.
The repair scheme allows timely troubleshooting and replacement of failed parts, reducing the period of dock repair.
